Informatyczny system zarządzania procesem eksploatacji górniczych przenośników taśmowych

W obecnych realiach funkcjonowania gospodarki w celu minimalizacji kosztów obserwuje się tendencję do maksymalizacji wykorzystania potencjału eksploatacyjnego urządzeń, z jednoczesnym ograniczeniem ryzyka powstawania kosztownych awarii.

Computerized information system used for management of mining belt conveyors operation

In current cost reduction-based economical conditions, a tendency of the most economical machine exploitation, including limitation of cost-consuming machine break downs risk, is observed. Such attitude is related with necessity of exploitation process description based on mathematical models, which in turn call for collection of exploitation process data. System BCE (Belt Conveyor Editor), which both collects the data and uses them for transport system management, has been described in the present study. The authors described the system structure and operation, including information, which can be obtained in result of the BCE system operation. Future plans related with the system development have also been described.

Simulation studies as the part of an integrated design process dealing with belt conveyor operations

This article presents simulation studies of transient working states of a conveyor as an indispensable, important part of the integrated process of its design. Simplified block diagrams and equations describe the structure of a dynamic model of a belt conveyor and a gravity take-up system. Results of simulation studies on the belt conveyor model have been compared to results of industrial tests carried out at the site of the conveyor operation using a mobile measurement system. The results of verifying the dynamic model have confirmed its utility for analysing dynamic phenomena occurring when the conveyor is operated, and demonstrated the complete suitability of simulation studies in the integrated process of designing belt conveyors.

Identification of the operating parameters of the friction drum drive in industrial conditions

The publication presents the results of measurements of the operating parameters of the drum drive of a belt conveyor operating in a copper ore mine. The laboratory and industrial tests of belt conveyor components so far have largely focused on idler sets, the belt and the conveyor route. The authors of the publication notice that the subject literature lacks information on research into the coefficient of friction between the belt and the drum in an industrial facility under real conditions, which may imply that the phenomenon of driving force transmission from the drum surface to the belt has not been thoroughly explored. The investigations described in the publication were aimed at determining the kinetic coefficient of friction between the conveyor belt and the lining of the drive drum under operating conditions. In the first part of the study, preliminary laboratory tests were carried out, whereas in the second part of the study, a mobile, non-invasive measurement system was applied, which allowed for recording the kinematic and dynamic parameters of the conveyor’s operation. During the several dozen minutes of the conveyor’s operation, there were several start-ups and brakings as well as periods of steady operation under variable load on the material handled. The non-typical planned sequence of switching on the drive motors caused a temporary slip of the belt on the drive drum surface during one of the start-ups. The recorded parameters of the conveyor operation enabled determining the operational limit value of the friction coefficient between the belt and the lining of the drive drum.
